The tech giant Google constantly strive for innovation. As a matter of fact, Google Search Engine is one of the most powerful search engines in the world that processes over 40000 search inputs every second on average. Taking this as an advantage, Google has put a step forward to associate a new feature into its search engine. It lets the job seekers find jobs within seconds in an ordered list. This is a useful and welcoming feature from the world’s most used search engine.
While announcing the feature, Google’s Vice President India and Southeast Asia, Rajan Anandan, said there was over 45 percent increase in the number of job search queries in the fourth quarter of the calendar year 2017. Of this, more than 50 percent search was done through mobile phones.
Whereas, Earlier in 2017, the same feature was launched in the US. Therefore it doesn’t take many years to come to the India where billions of people spend more time on Google to access information. So, this feature will add an advantage for unemployed people from India to find jobs that are best suited for their skills.
This feature also allows the small and medium level companies to level up on the search results which helps them to find job seekers. For listing in the comprehensive job list results, Google has provided separate open documentation that helps Job providers to top the search results.
“We want to make discovery of relevant jobs easier and help people find opportunities that are near them. This new job search experience, powered by our partners and our open platform approach, attempts to bridge the gap (between employers and workforce),” he added
