Nvidia Teases GeForce RTX 3070 Ti & RTX 3080 Ti Graphics Cards Announcement

On 31st May, Nvidia is supposed to launch a new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, Nvidia is promising a GeForce event soon. On Twitter today there was a mystery 11-second teaser video that just revealed a GeForce event on May 31st for 10 PM PT or 1 AM ET on June 1.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, with the RTX 3070 Ti, being introduced soon on the 31st of May. The RTX 3080 Ti is said to have 12GB GDDR6X memory, up to 2GB from the previous RTX 3080. There are also speculated that a broader 384-bit bus matches the RTX 3090 — and that the memory range is greater than the RTX 3080.

No doubt, a hash restriction on Ethereum cryptocurrency mining will be in place with the new Ti RTX 3080 and the RTX 3070 Ti. Nvidia recently imposed this restriction on freshly produced cards RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 with a “Lite Hash Rate” or “LHR” identification for branded new cages.

Leaked specs seem to hint that the RTX 3080 will be somewhere between the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3090. As the RTX 3090 retails (at least on paper) for $1,499, we can envision the cost of RTX 3080 Ti at roughly $1,000.

The price of new GPUs on the market is completely out of control, but it is not that important. A global chip deficit has boosted GPU prices and, with continued supply limitations, demand is still extraordinarily strong. Nvidia has warned that supply problems would remain until 2021, therefore it will not be helpful to offer a new RTX 3080 Ti.

The PG132 SKU18 design and the core of graphics for the GA102–225-KD-A1 graphics will be offered by NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB FE (Founder Edition). Since the last time we have seen them, the GA102-225 GPU has been updated and now will have 10240 CUDA cores in 80 SM units in total. The clock speed of the GPU is 1365 MHz and the boost is 1665 MHz, both less than contemporary GA102 GeForce RTX GPUs.

The card contains 12 GB of GDDR6X memory as regards memory. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has the same memory rates as the RTX 3080, which is 19 Gbps. Unlike the 19.5 Gb/s RTX 3090. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has a 384-bit bus interface, equivalent to a total bandwidth of 912 GB/s, as we receive 12GB of memory. Therefore, the bigger bus interface should generate faster memory bandwidth when we have an 8 GB of VRAM deduction over the prior specs.

The GA104-400-A1 GPU should be supplied with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The PG141-SKU10 board will be used by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. 6144 CUDA cores or 48 SM will be installed on the ampere GPU. The GeForce RTX 3070 is 4% better than the GeForce RTX 30% while the GeForce RTX 3080 is 30% lower.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti also features a GDDR6X memory of 8 GB and is vital here to ensure that NVIDIA does not use the regular GDDR6 modules on an existing GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, but rather the superior GDDR6X. Taking into consideration the additional cores and newer memory module, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti will close to the RTX 3080 with a TGP of roughly 250-275W. A 256-bit bus interface will be kept and pin speeds like GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti must be rated at 19Gbps.

Approximately For $599 will be launched GeForce RTX 3070 Ti in early June. For these cards, expect further information in the next few weeks. The official launch dates are June 4th and June 10th for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti.
