    Intel India’s tie up with gesture based developer TruTech

    Intel India, has recently joined up with IOT (Internet of things) party with a new sensing platform and is working along with startups to offer solutions across a wide range of smart and connected devices.

    The sensing platform offers solutions through a mass combination of hardware, analytics and cloud Intel India has tied up with Mumbai based TruTech Webs that develops gesture based applications. Well, TruTech’s owned technology can be used to transform existing games into gesture-based ones, or maybe it can be took to an entire new level; say, controlling a flying drone through gestures.

    Raghav Aggarwal and Abhinav Aggarwal (founder of TruTech) have previously worked with Rolls Royce in India to bring out the idea that focuses on the customer’s choice to select from a combination of, specs for both interior and exterior of the car using a gesture-based interface. Both of them are dropped out of college, former from ISB, Hyderabad and the latter from IIM-Ahmedabad.

    “The first laptops with our technology will come out soon. We are also looking at developing application for homes,”-Raghav Aggarwal.

    Kumud Srinivasan, president, Intel India said that the country’s focus on clean and local innovation has led to the creation of sensing platforms. Intel has planned out more than 40 solutions across energy, building, infrastructures and transportation to build intelligent systems and safer security surveillance solutions. The company has launched a pilot project with the Karnataka government for computerization of the public distribution system. It’s also pushing the need to deliver rural healthcare services through smartphones!
