Vivo to bring smartphone with integrated flying camera in the market

In terms of smartphone cameras, Vivo is reported to be doing a lot of research. A smartphone with an inbuilt flying camera is being developed by Vivo, according to reports. The company recently unveiled its first phone to include gimbal technology.

According to the rumors, Vivo is developing a camera with capabilities similar to those of a drone. To capture aerial photos or shoot videos, it may be detached from the smartphone and flown in the air.

It is reported that in December 2020, Vivo would submit a patent application for their smartphone to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). There has been some speculation about the existence of a Vivo phone that features a flying camera.

Lets Go Digital, a Dutch outlet, was the first to notice the concept art for the Vivo phone, which has a flying camera. It is illustrated in the sketch that a smartphone has an edge-mounted pull-out compartment.

A built-in battery compartment is located within the camera compartment, which also houses four propellers to help it fly higher in the air. When it is in the air, it has two cameras and three infrared sensors to ensure that it does not collide with anything or anybody else.

Two cameras are used: one for the front aerial view and another for the video underneath the surface. As seen in the patent, the camera compartment on the smartphone may be entirely removed from it.

In addition to the two cameras on the back of the smartphone, a third and fourth camera may also be included to record the surrounding area effectively and efficiently.

Because it will be contained within a smartphone, the flying camera is projected to be rather tiny. A patent, on the other hand, does not imply that the corporation would release a phone with similar features to the one shown in this patent.

Having such parents as real-life parents is less likely to happen. Patents for smartphones are filed by a large number of firms, but only a small number of these products make it to the public marketplace.

Vivo has previously unveiled a smartphone that had a gimbal-style lens. This smartphone is equipped with Vivo’s gimbal system and a 48-megapixel primary sensor that is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 13-megapixel depth sensor. Other features include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel depth sensor, among others. A 32-megapixel camera is located on the front of the phone for taking selfies.

With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 5G CPU. An AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 90Hz is included on the device’s 6.56-inch display screen. In its out-of-the-box configuration, the Vivo X50 Pro runs Android 10. Indian buyers will pay Rs 49,990 (about $70) for the smartphone.
