AI is booming day by day in the current technical world and most of the companies are investing too much on the AI’s. But, bots will wipe out the mankind; this is the main concern which we are hearing over the evolution of the AI. The recent one is heard from the Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin.
Sergey didn’t say that how robots will hunt down the mankind, but he spoke more about the ethics of AI which will be important for the developers to understand.
Alphabet recently published Founder’s Letters; here Brin described how Google is implementing the state of the art technologies which will help to achieve solutions like discovering the new planetary system, diagnosing the diseases and much more.
He has highlighted the benefits of AI that how the AI will penetrate into the modern society and provide us numerous benefits like self-driving cars, language translation, and image recognition.
“We’re in an era of great inspiration and possibility, but with this opportunity comes the need for tremendous thoughtfulness and responsibility as technology is deeply and irrevocably interwoven into our societies,” said Brin.
He also mentioned that how the artificial intelligence will bring the threat to our lives. It’s same like with great power comes great responsibilities. Brin believes in working on caution to handle such technologies and spend more time to understand the impact of AI systems on humans.
Another major concern was the employment factor across the sectors; will they vanish away with the penetration of AI bots?
Brin believes that AI systems will steal jobs and it can be used to manipulate people with the fake news and propaganda, this is the real concern raised by him.
However, Brin also believes that AI systems can solve many problems for the mankind. But, it is time to exercise the caution while we march towards the future.
