Snapchat is introducing a new feature that will allow users to easily share Snaps with one another. Shared Stories is the name of the feature. Users can create Shared Stories by selecting ‘Shared Story’ from the option to create a new story. In some ways, the function is similar to a WhatsApp group where people can share photographs, except that the images will be Snaps created with the Snapchat camera and will behave similarly to Snaps.

Shared Stories, according to Snapchat, are a new sort of Custom Stories, a product that recently approved Snapchat users to make a Story and invite friends to view and contribute to it. Users who have been added to the group can now add their friends as well, making it easier for the entire soccer team, camp, squad, or group of new coworkers to join in on the fun.
Snapchat Shared Stories features
Snaps posted to a Shared Story will be deleted after 24 hours. Furthermore, unlike standard friend Stories and Groups, Shared Stories lack a discussion component. To manage the content in Shared Stories, Snapchat employs algorithmic language identification and new community review mechanisms. If a user joins a Shared Story with someone they have blocked, the app will warn them.
Furthermore, Snapchat is developing a new parental control function that will allow parents to monitor their children’s app actions. Earlier this month, the platform revealed that it reaches 75% of 13-44-year-olds in over 20 nations. It is worth noting that other social media networks, such as Instagram and Facebook, already have parental controls in place.
The Snapchat Family Centre will allow guardians to check who their kids are friends with. Guardians will now be able to view who their children are communicating with on Snapchat as well as who they have texted during the last seven days. Furthermore, the tool will allow parents to report any type of abuse, harassment, or other difficulties.
