What are Enhanced Tags on Instagram?
Enhanced tags will allow users to recognize their innovative partners in Instagram posts and short videos that display in the Feed and Reels. According to Instagram, “this feature will highlight a creator’s prominently visible and conscience profile category.” As shown in the article’s feature image, the genres include make-up artists, choreographers, creative directors, photographers, and others.
How to use Enhanced Tags on Instagram?
- Launch the Instagram app on your phone and tap on ‘+’ at the top right.
- Then create a post and tap on Next.
- After adding a caption tap on “Tag People”.
- Tap on Add Tag to tag the contributor.

- Then tap on Done and share it after adding supplementary tags.
Instagram is testing a new layout with a select number of users that will display the latest content in the reels and hashtag search area. The test, for instance, disables the recent section that displays when some user searches using hashtags. Following the success of the Top and Reels sections, Instagram is currently launching a new feature called Templates. As the name implies, the functionality will assist users in making videos using existing Instagram videos in the same structure. The feature is beneficial to creators because it saves time that would otherwise be spent manually designing a video’s format.
