Micromax is all set to dispatch another budget Canvas 4G cell phone in India, not so long after the dispatch of its new Canvas 5 cell phone. The company today rolled out invites for its launching occasion at New Delhi on November 18.
The new Micromax Canvas 4G cell phone is priced at Rs 6.599 and will contend with any semblance of comparative cell phones from Xiaomi, Lenovo, Coolpad and others. The key specifications of the smartphone are 1GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor, 16GB internal storage, microSD card support, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and 2,000mAh battery.
It’s running on the Android lollipop operating system and this dual sim smartphone has a battery of 2000 mAH battery which is not bad. The rear camera has 8 MP camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera.
“We are the pioneers in the sub-Rs 7,000 category” says Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja
Anticipating that more clients will shift to 4G in the coming months with the launching of 4G technology from Reliance Jio and Vodafone, Micromax will be propelling more 4G-empowered cell phones under Rs 10,000.
