You may be ejected from matches. In the menus, you can be advised that they are unable to connect to the servers now. If your timing is poor, you can even lose crucial games. The servers are currently unavailable. As a result, players are unable to enter the game and match up with others. EA has announced that scheduled maintenance will take place on April 20. This will run for five hours, beginning at 3 a.m. UTC and ending at 8 a.m. UTC. Matchmaking will also be disabled half an hour before the maintenance period which will affect earlier game iterations as well.
