Moto 360 Gen 3 Launched: Flipkart now has the Moto 360 3rd generation smartwatch available for purchase. It appears like Moto is finally introducing its third-generation Moto 360 smartwatch to India after launching it in other countries last year. The Moto 360 wristwatch is the newest in the company’s famous Moto 360 line, which was released internationally last year.

Moto 360 Gen 3 Pricing

The Moto 360 Gen 3 has finally made its way to India, two years after making its global debut earlier. The smartwatch was initially advertised on Flipkart in May, but it is now available for purchase at Rs 19,990, according to the company.

The new Moto 360 is available in three color options: Phantom Black, Steel Grey, and Rose Gold, with the latter two being the most popular. All three versions have been priced at the same level of complexity. Selected bank cards may now take advantage of a discount of up to Rs 1500 on the smartwatch through Flipkart.

In terms of the smartwatch, the Moto 360 (3rd Gen) is the successor of the Moto 360 Gen 2, which was released in 2016. It is powered by the Android operating system. Motorola was the official licensee of the product at the time of its release. Soon after, the business lost interest in the category and sold the brand rights to eBuyNow, which launched the Moto 360 (3rd Gen) smartphone in 2019.

Design and Specifications

Although the design is similar to that of its predecessor, the only change is that it now has two physical buttons instead of only one as opposed to the previous model. An AMOLED panel with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 protection is mounted on top of the 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display. The materials utilized in its construction include stainless steel for the body and titanium screws to hold it together. On top of the scratch-resistant PVD coating, the Steel Grey and Rose Gold variations of the smartwatch are available, while the Phantom Black model is available with a DLC coating.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and runs on Google’s Wear OS. It has 16GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

It is possible to use the Moto 360 (3rd Gen) with both Android and iOS devices. Support for the former is limited to devices running Android 6.0 (except the Go version) or higher, whilst iOS 12.0 or higher is required for support of the latter.

The smartwatch is powered by a 355mAh battery, which enables rapid charge, allowing it to be charged from zero to 100 percent in under an hour. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS are all available as connectivity choices. There is also a heart rate monitor, as well as an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and an ambient light sensor, among other features.
