Email marketing started out in the 1980s, with companies gaining profits, more and more companies started using this method which resulted in email users using automatic “spam” filters.

This marketing strategy is closely linked with the previously discussed social media marketing. In this strategy, marketing is done by creating a viral trend and asking the consumers to share information on the goods and services through various means.

In pay-per-click advertising, a company posts its advertisements on another website with similar content which is used to target a certain audience, and the website hosting the ads gets paid per click on that advertisement. Big names like Facebook and Twitter also host pay-per-click ads.
The main purpose of PPC is to generate traffic for the advertiser. Though the main problem in PPC is the “click fraud” in which a website uses bots or low-wage workers to click on every Google ad-sense on the web page to generate money.

SEO is a tool used by organizations to generate traffic by promoting their companies in the famous search engine’s results. The website is optimized in such a way that it appears on the top of search engine results by using tags and keywords that are predominantly used to search for the product or service that is provided by the company.
SEO takes a deep understanding of how the algorithm of searching for a search engine works.
Affiliate marketing is the type of marketing in which every affiliate to the company is rewarded for bringing in consumers to the organization by the marketing efforts of the affiliates. Famous companies like Amway use affiliate marketing to grow.
