Kodak Enters the Smartphone Market with Kodak Instamatic 2014
The renowned imaging technology organization, Kodak, is venturing into the smartphone market. Kodak, a camera-making company that recently emerged from bankruptcy, has announced its plans to launch a new range of Android smartphones featuring best-in-class image management features and software. The smartphone is named Kodak Instamatic 2014. Kodak will not be building the smartphone alone but has partnered with Britain-based Bullitt to handle the development work. The first smartphone is set to launch at the CES 2015 event in Las Vegas, with other Android-powered devices, including a 4G handset, a tablet, and a connected camera, arriving during the second half of 2015.
